Tom has 36 years of experience in the professional and technical services arena.  Prior to starting ITstrategy, he was employed by TRW and BDM for 15 years. Tom has been working with the FAA’s Enterprise Services organization for the 26 years, serving on a lead support role on multi-billion dollar programs that are the foundation of the Next Generation (NextGen) air traffic control system for the United States. Prior to supporting the FAA, he worked on an upgrade to the command and control system for the Washington area’s Metro system and spent five years on the Engineering and Integration Contract for the Space Station Freedom program working in the Avionics and Software Group.

Tom has a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Engineering degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University, and Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
